If you are having problems with one of our products then we have the following options for support. We recommend trying them in the order listed below. - Do you have the latest version installed? This includes any patches that have been released and are available from the Making Tracks website.
- We have documented the common problems in our techdocs section.
- Check the Making Tracks Support Forum to see if anyone else has got the same problem.
If you are getting a specific error message, please use the search function in the forum to see if someone else has already reported the problem.
If you can't find it in the forums, you may like to post a message in the Tech Support section for the product in question. Include as much information as possible. The specific Error Message you get, your system configuration, are you using Train Store (version), what other routes you have installed and so on. Screenshots if you have the facility.
Please do not expect a reply within 5 minutes of posting (although you may well get a response within the hour during UK daytime hours). The forums are checked daily by most team members and general users as well who may have encountered the same error and may also be able to advise you.
- Once you have checked that you have the most current fixes installed, and that your issue is not already listed in the forum or techdocs section of this site you may want to contact us directly for support.
- If your problem is with a MT Exclusive product, ie our Stock Packs, please submit a support ticket.
- If your issue is with a retail boxed product you should contact the publisher directly. Before doing so, we would suggest that you do follow the Problem Determination Steps techdoc and provide all the information requested on that as it will help with the problem determination greatly. We will point out again that almost all problems reported are already covered in the Techdocs section of our website, please take a moment to read these and see if you see your problem already described.

Please remember that 'I have an error' is not very helpfull and will not get your issue resolved any faster. We are not able to see your PC screen, and are relying on you to explain to us exactly what you did before you got to the point where you are now.
